I designed these Rosh Hashanah cards exclusively for the Jewish Museum in NYC. For the 2020 Jewish New Year, we all knew that the High Holidays would not feel normal. I created this Rosh Hashanah card to reflect how we are all feeling during this unprecedented time, and give loved ones the chance to send warm wishes from afar (in a year where we need it the most!).
The scattered apples on the front of course reflect being separated from loved ones (many of us held Zoom holiday gatherings, or socially distanced at the least). And frankly, none of us truly feel "together" right now, ourselves. The honey yellow text in the middle reads: "Until We are Together Again..." The inside greeting reads: "May we find sweetness in the midst of difficulty. May this new year bring good health, healing, and hope for us all. L'Shana Tova."
