Jenny has been working as a graphic designer in NY for the past 13 years. Born & raised in New York City, Jenny moved to Chicago in 2000 to attend Northwestern University, where she earned her BA in Art Theory & Practice with a minor in Business. After trying her hand in the gallery world, Jenny quickly realized that her true calling was graphic design and went on to work as a Designer at HarperCollins Children’s Books for the next 5 years. In 2011, Jenny went back to school to attend the SVA MFA Design program in New York, where she got the chance to study under her graphic design idols and spend two years eating, sleeping & breathing design (just ask her husband!).
Jenny currently runs her own freelance design studio – Jennifer Rozbruch Design – in New York, and enjoys working on a wide range of client projects, including small business branding, life cycle event design, illustrated paper goods & more. And as an entrepreneurial designer, when Jenny gets a wild idea for a product or design that doesn't exist, she just goes ahead and makes it (see her hand-illustrated Jewish food alphabet).
You can purchase some of Jenny's paper goods & gifts on her Etsy shop, Bebe & Fritzi. Jenny is also the Founder & Designer of GreyMatters, an interactive life storybook app for the tablet that improves quality of life for people with dementia and their caregivers. GreyMatters began as her thesis project in the SVA MFA Design program, and was inspired by her grandmother, Frieda.
Jenny currently lives in NY with her husband, Eric, their little girl, Freddie, and their baby boy, Max. Both kids are, of course, already big fans of Milton Glaser, whose Dylan poster and I Love NY poster both reside prominently in their playroom.
